Skinner - The funeral of Mr David Skinner of Tambo Upper, will leave St Matthews Anglican Church, Bruthen, after a service commencing at 2.00pm on Wednesday (Dec. 3) for the Bruthen Cemetery. Skinner - David of Tambo Upper. 10th June 1935 - 11th November 2025 David passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, aged 90 years. Cherished son of David and Elsie (dec.), brother of Jean (dec.), John (dec.), Elsie, and Beryl. Loving and devoted husband of Marjorie (dec.). Dearly loved and loving father of Jenny, Peter and Cathy, grandfather of Christine, Alan, James, Liam and Matthew, great-grandfather of Jack and father-in-law and friend of Peter, Tracey, and Glen. In God’s care Dad, you have been a steadfast presence all my life, always there guiding with unwavering love and support. You led a full and rewarding life, took great pleasure in being surrounded by family and I’m very proud to call you Dad. I will miss you so much, but we are all surrounded by beautiful memories and it’s comforting you know you are now at peace, reunited with Mum. We thank you for teaching us everything you could; from values, respect, and kindness to sowing a pasture paddock, plumbing, fencing and so much more.
