Hume - Gareth Robert Leslie ‘Gary’. I’m deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gary Hume. Born 21st January 1940 in Ireland. Died 12th August 2025, aged 85, in the Monash Hospital surrounded by family. Loved husband of Helen, Father of Conor, Grandfather of Izzy, Neave and Donovan. Brother-in-law of Maree (Daisy), Roddy and Jo, Tom and Bev, and uncle to their families, son-in-law to Margaret Kleinitz (100 years old), Anita and Families in Ireland and Louise and Nimrod in England. A very full life well lived. As per Gary’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
