Hall - The funeral of Mr Desmond John ‘Des’ Hall of Metung, will be held at Our Chapel, 613 Main Street, Bairnsdale, on Friday (Aug. 28th), 2026, at 2.30pm. Private Cremation No flowers by request. Hall - Desmond John ‘Des’ of Metung Passed suddenly and too soon on the 19th of August 2026, at 60 years old. Beloved husband to Renate, adored father to Matthew and stepdad to Peter, little brother to Keith and Denise, and the greatest Grumpa to Leila, Louie, Fletcher and Maggie. Dearly loved by so many family and friends. Now in God’s care. Rest easy beloved. We are heartbroken, but immensely proud that Des was able to give the gift of life by organ donation. Grateful thanks to the Neilson family, the team of paramedics who worked tirelessly for Des; to the doctors and nurses at Monash ICU and the team at Donate For Life.
