Commins (née Fitzpatrick) - A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs Shirley Margaret Commins, of Ensay, will be held at the Little River Inn, 64-70 Johnston Street, Ensay, on Wednesday (Mar. 25), 2026, at 1.00pm. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, a private cremation will take place prior to her memorial service. Shirley’s memorial service will be recorded, and will be available to view by Friday, March 27th. Shirley, youngest child of Stan and Margaret Fitzpatrick (both dec), and sister to Tom, Alec, and Dick Fitzpatrick (all dec). Loving wife of Charlie (dec), loved mother and mother-in-law to Margie and Russell, Phillip (Bluey), John and Janine, Debbie and Andrew. Devoted Gran of Sandra, Kayla, Sarah, Emma, Aiden, David and Ben. Adored Great Gran of Ellie, Hugh, Jordy, Charlie, Maya, Aria, Kiel, Eadie, Lennox and Josephine. Shirley always worked tirelessly, she was a strong resilient lady who enjoyed supporting her community and loved her family. A heart-felt thank-you to all staff who cared for Shirley in her final months at Bupa Eastwood, her GP Dr Ross de Steiger, and those who supported her at home prior to going into care. Forever in our hearts.
